Much of this site’s writing, the “meaning links” between posts, and the drafts for each social platform are handled by AI.

That AI isn’t a single kind. I use a small AI that runs on my own machine, and a powerful cloud AI (Claude), depending on the job. Things I don’t want to send outside — someone’s personal information, say — go to the local one; general writing goes to the cloud one.

So it isn’t “fully local.” Honestly, this site leans heavily on cloud AI to run. What I care about isn’t holding everything on my own machine, but the line of keeping only what I don’t want to send out, at hand.

What I do is decide the direction, and approve at the end. I’m seriously testing “leave the busywork to machines; keep your time for what you love” — on my own site, of all places.
