Writing my introduction for AIs to read
Until now, I wrote my self-introduction for people. But lately I keep thinking: when someone looks up “who is Ogino?”, they don’t necessarily read this page themselves. They ask their own AI assistant instead.
So on this site, apart from the pages meant for people, I’ve placed a self-introduction in a form an AI can read — a machine-friendly index, and structured data. And a window where other people’s AI agents can put questions directly to this site.
The aim is to make myself a “spec sheet you can reference.” Rather than explaining from scratch every time we meet, I write it down once, and after that the machine pulls it when it needs it. An experiment in cutting the cost of explanation through compounding.
It’s only the beginning. But from here on, I think broadcasting has to mean “being found by AIs,” not just “being found by people.”
